Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

What is an EAP?

An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides access to work/life resources, and licensed clinicians. They can help you cope with a wide variety of concerns, from family and financial issues to substance use, emotional health, and stress.

The EAP is completely confidential and available at no cost to all employees, regardless of whether you enroll in a medical plan.

Using the EAP

You and your family members have access to five counseling sessions per concern, as needed, starting on your first day of employment with H&M.

The EAP can help with:

Mental Health Support

Talk to a licensed counselor or therapist to help with stressanxiety, and other mental health issues at no cost to you. While an EAP does not cover psychiatry or medication management, the short-term counseling services offered can be beneficial. In some cases, the EAP counseling may be all that is needed to get resolution. If additional counseling support or more specialized treatment is needed, the EAP will help you access your behavioral coverage under your insurance.
